There’s links to the Complete Guide to Dutch politics, for nerds, by a fellow Dutch designer/deveolper/nerd. What is amazing to me is that the American writers/editors of that blog find this stuff interesting at all :-) Quoting: “This is addictive, compulsive reading, even if you’re not in the Netherlands (I call PNH as a witness here; he’s begun starting IM conversations not with “Good morning” but with “Bos retired from politics? WTF?”).”
The comments are great reading and sometimes hilarious (to me…) They’re wondering what’s going to happen to the nukes (the *American ones*) now that *there is no one in charge*. (there is… The Queen – and she appointed Balkenende as still in charge, in a minority cabinet with limited powers. So *your* nukes are safe, and NO military junta to go off and play with them. :-))

look at this blog – lost of folks interested in the political organization of … “the Netherlands”… and it is so friendly…
HH, you may not see it…but from afar, where the rancor lies heavy on the land, …
this blog is a breath of fresh air, whereby folks are exchanging ideas, answering questions, ASking questions… all in the most ‘mild and seemly’ manner, to quote one of the Pilgrim emigres…
and many are Americans or Brits or Canadians…
and it is fascinating…

am absolutely ‘over the moon’ at finding that blog… now bookmarked and posted to the Desktop.
